It was a busy month in June, and we kicked the summer off with a bang! Johnny and Lucy were running side by side, when Lucy decided to cut in front of Johnny and he tripped and fell on the concrete outside in the front of the house. He took quite a hit, and as you can see above, he has the wounds to prove it! Now that we are at the end of July, his nose still holds the scars, and probably will for some time. The life of little boys!
Nebraskaland Days is always another fun event. Johnny was in the Parade again riding with Charlie’s North Platte Plumbing. I thought that the float this year was great! How cute are those cows? There was one horse at the end, the brown toilet wasn’t fit to be a cow! The kids had a lot of fun, and of course can’t wait for next year. Is there rumors about motorized toilets? Hmmmm….
Johnny and Charlie before the parade.
One more picture of Johnny. I swear, this parade was all he would talk about for a couple of weeks.
Next week, Brandon is promising to finish the baby’s room. I’ll get some pictures and post them, right now her room is quite a mess! Clothes are everywhere, and there isn’t anything on the walls. We are getting down to crunch time…we still have a bunch to do! Once her room is done, it would be nice to pick out a name for her. Easier said than done. When we see her for the first time, we’ll know.
The Month of June…Finally!
