Now I Know That Sleep is NEVER Overrated!

by seeryusmama on April 25, 2008

There are moms out there who wish their little kiddies would sleep through the night. I had one of those children. She was a dream. From two weeks on, Miss Pea would sleep the entire night through. Eight o’clock at night, until eight o’clock in the morning. There were times I wished she’d get up. I missed rocking her, and it really wasn’t that much sleep I missed out on.

Wishes have been granted my friends. She is up not once, not twice, but three times in the night! What in the world did I get myself into? For seven months she’s slept through the night. The Mommy and Pea show has been going on for a few weeks now.

I know I’ll get used to it, mark my words I will. But…and here’s the but, once I get used to it, she’ll start sleeping through again and I’ll be up to check on her!

Anna still doesn’t sleep through. Sometimes I hate it, but then again I like to cuddle with her in the middle of the night sometimes…. plus when she was younger, I liked to know she was breathing lol! ;D
I hope your little one starts to sleep through again. It’s really difficult when you’re not used to it. It’s been 17 months now. I think I’m used to not getting continuous sleep. ROFL!
