The Big Dig

See those two things, they made me itch. That’s right I’d break out with a crazy rash when I touched them. They’re history. I love the end result, it’s about time.

Lucy was the job foreman. She contributed by watching over the boys very carefully and making sure that they put the new plants right where they were supposed to go. All while maintaining her stretched out position. We think she’s turning into a skunk. She’s got a faint white strip down her back, what’s up with that? It’s just recently appeared. Now we’ve got a half jack rabbit, half skunk. What happened to that mini schnauzer we used to have?

Are those Junipers? I hate Junipers. Not only do they scratch, they stink.

What I want to know, is HOW did you get them out!! We’ve got them thingers in front of our house, and I want them OUT!!!!! Joel said he things we’re going to have to use the bobcat to get them out, and I fear what that will do to my yard! :( Glad yours are out though! :)

LOL, honestly, brandon wrapped a chain around the trunk and backed out of the driveway. The bigger one took some effort…for the truck! The tires really squealed and bounced! The nice thing is the roots aren’t deep with those particular bushes, so the come out rather easy. Good luck Amanda…and post pictures!

Your garden looks beautiful!!!

I love Junipers. They remind me of my childhood. I grew up in Eastern Oregon. They’re all over there. ;)

That’s quite a bush you’ve got there… I’m glad you pulled those! I don’t like anything that looks piney.

The landscaping looks great!

Oh and I’m glad Lucky was there to oversee all of the work! I don’t know where you’d be without him! =)

p.s. Thanks for stopping by my blog too! I love your blog too! Thanks for putting a smile on my face!!!
