The way I finally managed to finish my daughter's baby blanket by the time she was 8 months old was we started getting together with friends every week to watch movies and I decided that I would set that time aside to get knitting done. Maybe you should find some nice long miniseries to watch in the evening so you can create some knitting time.<br/><br/>Have you signed up with <a HREF="http://www.ravelry.com" REL="nofollow">Ravelry</a>? I've knitted a blanket for a friend's baby, but nothing for my own, yet!<br/><br/>I agree about the reading--here's what we need: they have digital music stands that you download the sheet music onto, and there's a foot pedal to "turn" the pages. Sometimes when you are learning, it's messy but in the end you'll be glad you learned.<br/><br/>You'll be able to finish it, I bet! Just do it while you are watching t.v. or just before you go to bed... that's when I do mine. It's kinda just lets your mind escape. =) I’m knew to knitting but I have found that it gets easier with practice.
