Johnny is a swimmer, can’t keep the kid away from water. Pea loves bath time. I figured that she’d be a little swimmer too. Well, that’s what I get for thinking! We bought a pool last week, albeit a small one, but it’s a pool. Pea is scared to death! After lunch, we put the suits on, slathered ourselves in sunscreen and went out for some water fun.
To which quickly became me, getting an old blanket out and Pea watching Lucy run around the yard. She hated it, totally freaked (and I mean FAH-REAKED!) out. We’d had maybe five minutes total in the pool. We’ll try again tomorrow!
In the end, Pea doesn’t want anything to do with the pool. After nap time, we went outside to watch Johnny swim. She clung to me and was shaking the entire time! Hopefully, by the end of summer, we’ll have it down. She’s darn cute in her suit though!
