The heat…the humidity…give me air conditioning, or give me death! So maybe that is a bit dramatic. For real though, it’s bloody hot outside! Brand turned on the A/C last night, and that in itself is a BIG thing. The air conditioning is never turned on until July. He’d had enough last night. I don’t know if he is weakening, or just getting older! (I’m just saying)
Today was a scorcher as well. We don’t have humidity like we’ve had the last few days. I just can’t believe it.
We once again ventured into our pool last night. Pea still wasn’t having it, but managed about 5 minutes before having a meltdown. I think we will try once again tonight. This child will come to love water, right? I love water, Johnny loves water. Brand, not so much. Oh, how I hope she will come to love it as much as J-Rod and I do!
Miss Pea is now 10 months, and soon we will have a big birthday bash. I’d like to bring the fun to the blog…so I’m open for any suggestions that are out there. I want this to be a big thing. I’m dreading the day she turns 1, but looking forward to it all at the same time.

97 degrees and humid here!
Oh gosh- just be prepared that she may just want to sleep through the whole party! The less guests, the better. I’ve found over the years that too much stimulation and noise and people can stress baby & Mama out! I’d just keep it easy going and fun- and it will be a great party!!

I hear you about the humidity and heat! We live in the heart of humidity country down here – ugh. How exciting Pea will be 1 in 2 short months. Times flies when you’re having fun! As for suggestions for a blog celebration, blog parties are always fun. Maybe have people share pix, stories etc about their children’s 1st birthday. I’m not really good at giving ideas. Hope someone else comes up with something better. lol
