Earlier this week I was browsing through Mom Generations, formerly known as Pinks and Blues. I happened to click on the Celebrity Scoop and there was an article about Amanda Peet. Let me explain, so people don’t freak out. Yes…that is Lucy’s kennel, and yes, Pea is in the kennel. She started crawling in there yesterday morning…and now, we can’t get her out! She takes a few toys or her newest love, a water bottle and opens and shuts the door. I think it’s a bit twisted. However, she’s happy for a good 45 minutes. Lucy is kinds of confused! Today, I took an oath…I, Sky, do solemnly swear that I will return this putty knife to it’s correct spot in the garage. Should I choose not to, I am relinquishing my rights to take tools from the garage. Especially those tools (like a certain red handled putty knife) that are used inappropriately (like scraping the old linoleum from the floor). It feels like it’s that half way point of summer. You know the feeling, it’s all down hill from here? I don’t like that feeling much. I’m overwhelmed. A summer vacation needs to be had, school clothes and supplies need to be purchased. I feel bad for Johnny, he’s not much for school. This year will be tough, more homework, real grades, a new speech teacher. He’s come along way, but we still have work to do. I wish I could make it easier for him, that’s all. About this Go-Cart thing. I have a beef, if you will. You see there is a parent guy who I’ve got a problem with. I’m not going to tell you what I think of him, because it’s not about what I think of him. It’s how he treats the kids. His two raced last year and now they live with their mom in another state. Believe me, it’s a good thing. He would yell at his kids last year when they came off the track if they bumped into another person, or if they were lapped.
