Joys of Learning

I love football. Yeah, I’m a Huskers fan through and through. But, I think I’ve found something better than watching the Huskers (did I just say that out loud?)

It’s watching Johnny play football. He’s playing in the tackle league and it’s his first year. It’s so much fun!! He had his first game this week and the boys gave it their all. I’m looking forward to the next game, and even though this football takes a lot of time, I’m so glad he’s doing it.

Miss Paige on the other hand. She’s into everything. She’s still fascinated with Lucy’s food and water dish. I really dislike saying “NO!” all the time, so I’m trying to distract her. I’ll break out the Cheerios, open up one of the cupboards, anything. Still, that girl goes back to the dog dish. I’m hoping this phase wears through quickly!
