Weekend Off

So, I just got one of my grades back...and it wasn't so hot.  Yay me!  I'm going to take the weekend off and kind of regroup.  I need to get it together. And throw myself a great-big HUGE pity party. Wordless Wednesday

It could be the setting on my camera, or the pretty pink tiles. It's probably a combination of the two. Last night I was taking photos of Paige and her wild hair which had been braided all day.  Her bright blue vibrant eyes turned green and her hair a richer shade of red.  Either way, I think she's lovely! Gearing Up For Gametime! *Giveaway*

I love football.  High school, college and pro.  I love it all!  Of course, I bleed red with my Nebraska Huskers, but we're also fans of the New York Jets.  While I was disappointed that they didn't make it to the Superbowl, I'm a fan of the New Orleans Saints...it's all good! Anytime we have the chance to try out a new game on the Nintendo DS, we take it! One of the newest World Championship Games – A Track and Field Event. I’ve already beat 2 of the guitar hero games…so I was looking for something that was a bit more difficult, and I’ve found it! It presents a challenge, and when you finally get that gold you feel like you are on top of the world. You know, DS style!

World Championship Games – A Track and Field Event is about as realistic as you can get! You create your own characters to compete in 13 different events. There’s the pole vaulting, the long jump, shot put, hurdles and my favorite, archery. It takes practice, but once you beat world records you get medals that unlock other events and features.

Do you have what it takes to compete in the Decathlon? You can test your skills and try to unlock all of the features to get that far. Even better, gather your friends and challenge each other!
