He is soon overwhelmed by the responsibility of being... [more]

I want to share with you all a little story about the good folks over at Skuut. It was just over a week ago that Nyko from Skuut emailed me. She had been checking in with the comments (Yes! Sponsors DO read the comments you leave!) and there were a few comments that struck a chord. Guess what? Nyko was kind enough to send those 2 readers a Skuut bike! How great is that? It warms my heart that there is still this good karma out there! Congrats to all 3 of the Skuut bike winners! Read More →

After taking a peek at her Etsy store, I was hooked! Clippies, tutus, skirts, warmers and more! All of it, just too darn sweet for words! Pictured above (please excuse the can of nuts, she wouldn’t part with them!), Pea is wearing the Twirly Girly Skirt and Hairbow. I just love the skirt it’s a patchwork... [more]

I am so excited to be a part of this book tour! Obama: The Historic Journey -A Young Readers Edition couldn’t have come to our door at a better time. Johnny had just decided that he was going to write his report on President Obama and needed information. In our household, our children are allowed to be their own person when it comes to politics. I don’t shove my ideas or believes upon them. I want them to choose their own path. That being said, I can not be any more thrilled with Johnny’s left wing leanings. Because this book is a young reader’s edition, it was easy for Johnny to find information and was presented in a way that he understood. (As a side note, he did receive... [more]

My goal, should I choose to accept it (because I haven’t yet!) to get fit. It’s going to take a while, but I will do it. No with the help of the FitBook. Fitbook is a fitness journal of sorts. It takes you step by step. The Fitbook keeps it real, you make a game plan, and you stick to that game plan. My goal? I want to be able to walk from 5:00 PM to 7:00AM for the Relay for Life in August. Not a big goal, but I’m taking baby steps, okay? So, you start out with your goal and you track your progress every day for 12 weeks. By setting a 12 week goal and tracking every day, you aren’t so much focusing on the big picture, rather, you are focusing on that day only. ... [more]

I love Pea’s car seat. That said, I’m a mom who likes to switch it up, redecorate, and rearrange often. The toddler car seat covers from Baby Bella Maya couldn’t have come at a better time! The car seat that we have for Pea is a lovely pink and brown color combo. To receive the elegant Blue Champagne car seat cover is a welcome change. I’ve looked at other car seat covers in the past, but was worried about how hard it was going to be to put the cover on. The Baby Bella Maya toddler car seat covers make it easy. They have snaps! The snaps allow for an easy on and off. There is no removing and replacing the car seat straps at all! I couldn’t believe how easy... [more]
The runs, crappies, diarrhea. Whatever you call it, it’s gross. It’s one of those things that just can’t be helped…or can it? Florastor® Kids is a clinically-tested, natural, yeast-based probiotic that aids in the growth of good microbiota in the intestines, while destroying and removing pathogenic (bad or disease-causing) microbiota to help maintain or restore optimal intestinal health.
