If you are a regular reader of Seeryus Mama, you know that I love the music by Lanny Sherwin. After all, Paige still falls asleep to Dream With Me Tonight Vol. 2 – A Father’s Lullabies. I sing along and we rock. It’s peaceful and to be quite honest with you, I love the songs as much as Paige does…even after almost 2 years of listening to it.
Lanny was kind enough to send me a copy of his newest CD, Meltdown. It went with us on our trip to Kentucky and both kids loved listening to it. Best of all, it’s music that doesn’t drive parents crazy! I mean, that is the Sandman Records logo!
Geared for children 4-12, Meltdown offers many styles of music. There is so rock, pop, the Caribbean that makes you want to dance and even an a cappella. The lyrics are just…fitting. Perfect for my 9 year old, yet my almost 2 year old loves to groove too. We would sing bits and pieces of the song Meltdown when she was throwing a fit and it grabbed her attention. She’d stop and try to figure it out. It works for us!
Witty and clever. That’s what comes to mind when I think of the songs on Meltdown. I Can’t Rhyme has to be one of my favorites! I say that and the next song that plays is my favorite too.
Lanny’s music is a must-have. From the calming lullabies to catchy Meltdown, you are going to love each and every song. Purchase online at the Sandman Records website or at Boarders, iTunes, Amazon.com, CDBaby.com, and Kidzmusic.com. It makes the perfect birthday, baby shower or just because gift!
**I honestly love the music of Lanny Sherwin. I sing the praises to everyone I know and recommend his music to all new parents! I feel that passionate about this music. Of course, like always all reviews are of my own opinion. What works for our family may or may not work for yours. Questions? Email me, seeryusfam@msn.com **

I'll have to check this out. Thanks Sky!
thank you so much for this review. We are getting E one of those sansa shakers for her birthday and are trying to figure out why kind of music we should try and get her into. She's turning 6 and getting beyond the whole "old mcdonald" type of songs.
I will be checking it out. Thanks.
How cool! Love the album art — that's really neat, I'll have to check them out and let Charlie dance her heart out!
