One of our adventures in Kentucky took us to the Lexington Explorium. If you live anywhere near the Lexington, Kentucky area…it’s worth the visit! We took the kids on a whim, it was one of those days when we didn’t have much planned and the hopes of visiting the Mary Todd Lincoln house were squashed. So…why not?
I am so glad we went! The kids (yes, both of them!) had so much fun, and so did we! It was fun playing (learning), watching them explore. There was a great area for kids 3 and under with a water feature that captured Paige. (You’ll see more on that and Crocs later!) There was a bubble room, Hold Your Horses exhibit, Homes from around the World…and so much more!
I really liked the Moon area. Who doesn’t want their picture taken on the moon?
Once it was time to leave, both kids were soaking wet – Pea from her water playing area and Johnny from the water works exhibit for older kids – but we didn’t mind. I don’t think we had driven 3 blocks and Paige was asleep…she just wore herself out! It was great fun and we hope to go again next year!
**I am in no way, shape or form being compensated for this post. It is strictly of my opinion. We went, paid full price to get in and had fun. I share, hoping that other parents will stumble upon this excellent place for children. Lexington is so very lucky to have such a fun place for children to play and learn.**
