emagineGreen – Review and Giveaway

September 8, 2009 · 3 comments

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the folks over at emagineGreen…and I’m hooked!

emagineGreen is a different kind of company, and I love their mantra.

At emagineGreen, we have a philosophy we frequently repeat to ourselves, to each other and to anyone who will listen. It summarizes the mission of our company in three simple words:

Awareness + Action = Impact

We believe that when we raise awareness about what is happening in the environment and what we can do about it, people will be inspired to take action. The result will be a significant group of people coming together to make a positive impact for a healthier planet.

The folks over at emagineGreen sent out 3 items for me to try out. All Purpose Cleaner, 3 Bamboo Towelettes and a Planet Pouch. I’m really pleased with the quality of all the items that emagineGreen has sent out.

Let’s start off with the Planet Pouch. This generous sized bag (16.5″ x 19.5″ with 9″ handles) sports a vibrant message. I love how bold the Listen to Your Mother is. It really stands out. The bag folds into itself and secures with a drawstring, forming a convenient carrying pouch. The bag is washable, on delicate cycle, hang to dry.

There are plenty of bags to choose from. Fashion totes with 3 different collections and Market bags. I love the matching sets!

The Bamboo Towelettes are made of 100% bamboo fibers. Like a paper towel, except you can use them again and again! Shaped like a tiny disk, the bamboo towelettes open to an impressive 11″X30″ size with just a little water. It’s also biodegradable. Either throw it away or compost it. Bamboo is a sustainable natural resource, it is the fastest growing canopy for the re-greening of degraded lands and releases 35% more oxygen than equivalent timber stands.

Finally, the All Purpose Cleaner. I swear the heavens open when I use this stuff! It’s safe for all hard surfaces, counter tops, appliances, bathtubs, stainless steel and walls. Yes, walls! I’ve cleaned my kitchen walls with the All Purpose Cleaner and they look great! Made from Purified Water, Plant-Derived Cleaning Agent, Non-Precipitating Conditioner (food grade conditioner to aid flow and remove hard water deposits), Natural Essential Oils, it’s all natural. The All Purpose Cleaner has been used in industrial applications for over 50 years.

I’ve been using this cleaner for a few weeks and I’m almost out. I’m going to order the refill though, it’s that smaller bottle pictured. It’s concentrated and will make 4 32oz. bottles.

I can’t be the only one who has tried out numerous green, good-for-the-environment cleaners, only to find that they aren’t that great so they are tucked to the back of the cabinet. So not the case regarding the All Purpose Cleaner. It sits on my counter top…always at my reach!
