(res)olution ampoules

ampouleWhen it comes to makeup and skincare, I’m a minimalist.  I wear very little make up and as much as I hate to admit it, I usually wash my face with the hand soap on the bathroom counter.  Yeah.

I’m not worried about looking old, probably because I know that I  can’t fight nature, so I might as well embrace it.  I’m fine with the fact that someday, I’m going to be a hot wrinkly mess.  Sorry boys, but I’m already taken. Really, isn’t my husband a lucky, lucky man?

When I was sent the (res)olution ampoule treatment system by mod.skin labs, it took me a while to warm up to it.  In fact, I’m still going through my 14 day treatment. It’s my goal to get through two weeks and not skip a single day.

The goal?  To slow down aging and improve texture and clarity of  skin.    The ingredient that deserves the most attention is resveratrol.  From mod.skin labs:

The (res)olution collection features one of nature’s most miraculous gifts that science has uncovered: resveratrol. Known as a phytoalexin, resveratrol is produced by an abundance of plants in the ecosystem as a response to pathogens and exhibits protective and restorative qualities. The skin of red grapes retain an impressive amount of resveratrol, and its benefits are touted in several cultures globally.

It’s easy to use:  after washing your face open a single use ampoule.  Apply to the face, neck and eye area (but not IN the eyes!).  Follow with a moisturizer.  The package reccommend doing this at night.  My face and neck feel a bit tingly after putting it on.  It’s not an uncomofortable feeling, just something that I notice.
Will I look younger?  I don’t know.  I feel a bit more, put together…responsible…pretty (oh-so pretty!) by using it.  Only I can do good things for myself, I like the way my skin feels…so I’ll keep with it.

The 14 daily ampoules retail for $40.00.  Not too pricey, I’ve seen some creams out there for a heck of a lot more.

**Special thanks to mod.skin labs for providing a product for review.**
