One of Paige’s best friends is eebee.  He’s well loved in our house.

Just in time for the holidays comes the first-ever cooking with your baby book!   Mix & Mash - Adventures in the Kitchen for Baby and You not only provides entertainment, but is teaching your child about food!

Released just last month this oversized board book features six nutritious and easy to make recipes.  Each page (recipe) features a different color, very pleasing to the eye.  Pictured above is the Guacaoml-ee Crunch.  Since avocados are a favorite already, Paige enjoys pointing out this recipe.  It’s fun to mash, mush, moosh and smoosh those avocados and crushed cereal.  Aside from the fun of it, Paige is learning about texture and taste.

Included with the book is a DVD.  It’s co-produced with Parents TV and features Parents TV anchor Juli Auclair, eebee and Kristy Glass, eebee’s friend on his DVD series.  The talk about nutrition and while demonstrating the recipes.

I can’t wait for next summer, I think the Watermelon Slush-ee recipe would be great fun to make…and eat!
