For the first time in I don’t know how many years, I am without people this weekend. Let me say it again…I will be husband and kid-free! Somebody pinch me! Long story short, Brand’s Christmas party is Saturday evening, I have to work all day Saturday. He’s loading up the kids and they’ll stay at his sister’s house, coming home sometime Sunday.
I don’t know what I’m going to do first! Bask in the total silence, turn up MY music, stay up really late, with the lights on reading, no! I’ve got it! I’m going to sleep in the middle of the bed. Yes! I will have the entire bed to myself! I’m so excited, I just may pee my pants.
**I love my family very much. I’ve just never had a kid & husband free weekend. Please don’t miss understand, I will miss them very much….deep, deep, deep down inside.***

You don’t have to explain to me – I know you love them dearly – but it’s a wonderful feeling to have the house to yourself – just for a bit. Wooo hooo!!! I am so happy for you. Enjoy it thoroughly. Turn up the music and dance around nekkid!
To say I am jealous would be an understatement. I would stay up all night watching my movies and I would sleep in the middle of the bed too… sometimes I do that even when he is home if I go to bed before him. LOL

dance around the house naked, take a shower with the door open and turn up the music Nice and loud while you blog , blog blog from the middle of the bed eating icecream and cheese cake never having to share not 1 bite. LOL
lol I am laid off and pregnant I find myself up half the night 1. cause I have heartburn 2. i tos and turn at night and DH has to work during the day so I fee bd waking him up 3. cause I sleep alot during the day!
I love DH but when I am home all day alone I love having the whole bed to myself!!! He can be a bear to sleep next to at night sometimes!! I think i should wear full body gear at night sometimes to protect myself from wandering hands and flying elbows never mind the crazy out of control legs!! lol I Love him no matter what though!

OH do I hear you! My hubby goes on business trips and hunting adventures and I DO miss him, but when he’s gone I am on my OWN schedule, have the bedroom tv to myself at night and although I have horrible insomnia EVERY night…when he’s gone I dont have to feel bad with reading lights on or computer monitor lights flashing him. And when the kids are gone too, it is fun for a while…but the house is WAY too quiet for me. EVERYONE needs a ME day once in a while!
