When I get stressed, I get canker sores. It’s been that way since I was a child. It’s brings me to the “OMG, Sweet Baby Jesus” mode that often includes tears. Seriously, it hurts to eat, drink and talk because I don’t get one canker sore, I usually get 5 or 6…and they are huge. TMI, I know.
I jumped at the chance to try Canker Cover!
Canker Cover is the only over-the-counter canker sore treatment shown in clinical studies to significantly speed treatment. The pill shaped patch adheres to the sore and forms a gel patch that protect the sore, relieves the pain and speeds treatment. In two separtate clincal studies, Canker Cover was shown to heal most canker sores within 24 hours and to be more effictive than benzocaine, the active in most canker sores products, at eliminating the pain.
In case you didn’t know, canker sores are painful blisters that form on the inside of the mouth, cheeks, and inner lips, as well as on the tongue, affecting 56 million people annually. They cause pain when you eat, drink, talk or move your mouth in general. While nobody knows for sure what causes canker sores, possibilities include increased stress (yeah, I can attest to that!), lower immunity, trauma (e.g. cheek bites, irritation from braces, etc.), vitamin B12 or iron deficiencies, hormonal changes or food allergies.
With my college gig upon me know, canker sores are present. Canker Cover is easy to apply, simply stick the muco-adhesive patch and it forms a clear, gel patch that seals and isolates the canker sore. Preventing contact from teeth, tongue, and food for 8-12 hours. It also takes away the pain by releasing pain-numbing menthol onto the sore.
Canker Cover is also made from natural ingredients including natural menthol, citrus oil and sea salt, which dissolves over time, offering immediate pain relief upon application while covering and protecting the lesion from bacteria and other irritants.
Suggested retail price is $9.99 for a box of six patches; available at drug stores, supermarkets and health food stores nationwide, and online at www.cankercover.com.

Ugh…I get them! Usually only one or two a year, but it sucks! They hurt and they do always seem to pop up under times of stress…like right before a vacation! I hate that…so many vacation shots of me have me covering my mouth or turning away so it’s not in the pic. Boy, I’d love to try Canker Covers!
