On The Menu

March 14, 2010 · 5 comments

So last week’s On the Menu was screwed up due to the fact that I spent the day cleaning windows.  It was a gorgeous day…I couldn’t resist!  I’m back on track this week!  This morning, I went to the store and spent $115.  I had several staples to pick up, oil, butter, flour…those kinds of things.

This week our menu is consisting of:

Sunday – Steaks, baked potato and green beans and mushroom sauteed in garlic

Monday – Enchiladas with Spanish rice

Tuesday – Lasagna and garlic bread

Wednesday – Tater Tot Casserole

Thursday – Brand and Kids on their own

Friday – Grilled Chicken wrapped w/bacon

Saturday – Pulled Pork Sammies

This week is so wonky because I’m working 8 more hours than normal…so that going to throw things off a bit.  However, with the use of coupons I did cut down on the bill a little bit.  I’m working on those coupons and hopefully I can sit down Saturday Night and write out a grocery list for what’s on sale that week to cut the cost even further.

Houses and cars are not very cheap and not everyone is able to buy it. But, mortgage loans was created to help people in such kind of situations.
