I’m looking forward to Friday, April 16 at 7:00 PM CST.  Secrets of the Mountain, a made-for-TV movie will premiere on NBC…and it’s different from what you normally find on TV.  I had the pleasure of receiving a movie trailer and behind the scenes DVD, poster, and cute movie reel tin filled with popcorn, something we are saving for movie night!

During the evenings, whether we are cooking dinner, picking up the house, etc. we have the TV on.  We’re not always watching, but the ears are always listening…and sometimes I can not believe what I’m hearing!

I bet it’s comical, Brand or I lunging for the remote to quickly turn the channel.  There is so much sexual talk and foul language.  I have a 10 year old boy…I’d rather he learn the birds and the bees from his parents…thankyouverymuch.  Let’s not forget my parrot of a 2 year old.  She repeats everything!

Walmart and P&G have teamed up to create a quality, adventure packed movie for families.

Secrets of the Mountain focuses on Dana James, a public defender and single mother, who takes her family to visit a mountain cabin the inherited from their eccentric Uncle Henry, only to find themselves embarking on the adventure of a lifetime.  The audience gets to follow Dana and her family throught a journey that will change each of them and their relationships forever.  An ancient secret and a treacherous quest will test the family like never before.  It’s an edge-of-the-seat thriller that reminds us that when times are tough, families don’t run away from problems – they run back to each other.

The soundtrack for Secrets of the Mountain was produced by Randy Jackson and some of the artists featuring original tracks are Jordin Sparks, Ashlyne Huff and Josh Kelly.

Walmart will have a special DVD and soundtrack available for purchase on the 17th…in case you miss it.  But you won’t want to miss it!
