Don’t Fret the Sweat!

As I’ve mentioned before, I was a Para-Educator for close to 8 years.  I don’t think I’ll ever forget the smell of a 5th grade classroom after PE class.  Especially when the weather was warm.  Talk about toe-curling!

That’s why we’ve been talking the deodorant talk with our little stinker.  True, he’s not quite there yet…(smelling like a stinker, actions however are another thing!) but next year, I want for him to be prepared and to be a fine smelling 5th grader.  To his 5th grade teacher, you can thank me later!

PE class isn’t the only reason that it’s time to talk deodorant.  My son has an action packed schedule.  From running in those mile races (good luck tomorrow buddy!) to baseball games and soon, go-kart racing will be starting.  Let’s not forget fall football, winter basketball and everything in between.

It’s not easy being a tween!

We’re breaching to those touchy years.  As research proves, kids are entering puberty earlier than ever.  Johnny is a fairly confident kid, I’d like to see him stay that way and not worrying about if he smells bad.

There is a great website, Don’t Fret the Sweat, that tackles those stinky situations.  With a panel of experts, the offer advice, share stories and provide insight to the Unilever products that can help our kids.  Let’s not forget the coupons!

We were provided with 2 Degree deodorants to which Johnny has been faithfully using.  I think he remember my rambling of stinky 5th graders! It’s all about getting him in the daily habit and maintaining good hygiene to get him (and the rest of the family!) through the toughest years of his life.

*I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Unilever and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.*

My son is 10 years old and boy does he ever need deodorant. I think I’ll try Degree, haha. I’ve tried just the anti-perspirant but it doesn’t help with the smell too much. o_o
