Summer of Smiles *Closed*

Receiving flowers is bound to make you smile.  And it’s something that everyone loves to receive – at least they should!  This summer, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM is on a mission to spread smiles across the nation.  That’s why they’re calling it the Summer of Smiles, encouraging everyone to brighten someone’s day with thoughtful gifts and flowers.

1-800-FLOWERS.COM is also launching a Summer of Smiles Sweepstakes that began on July 1.  It’s easy to enter, if you know of someone who could use a smile tell them in 100 words or less and they could win a Happy Day Bouquet.

All around summer is a busy time.  Why not send flowers to brighten a day?  I sent the It’s Your Sunny Day bouquet to my mother-in-law, because I really appreciate all of her help, especially with the kids.  Not only that, but when we had our basement flood, she was right there for anything we needed.  You can only say “Thank You” so many times.  I like to express my appreciation with flowers.  It’s a gorgeous arrangement!  My mother-in-law was thrilled and I think that it made her day.  Mission accomplished!

We have a lot of birthdays in the summer too.  I love this “cake” – the Birthday Flower Cake looks good enough to eat, too!

There are so many gorgeous arrangements for any number of occasions – celebrating a new baby to just because.  In my mind, flowers are the perfect gift!
