Ironing It Out *Closed*

This giveaway is now closed.  Congrats to Jenn H.! *Winner has been notified!*

Most days, I love doing my hair.  Not that it looks fantastic -but I do have my days.  I love playing with all of the toys and that includes a professional hair straightener.  I’ve found out the hard way though, if you are going to try a flat iron…make sure it’s high quality.  You’ll know right away when you have one that isn’t.  Trust me on this…and just avoid that route.  At all costs, avoid that route.

Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the 1″ Corioliss Classic Pro Flat Iron from Misikko.    It’s a flat iron that spot-on in price and quality.

I have fabulously frizzy, flat hair when I blow dry.  And since I’m one of those people that has a routine that can’t be broken, I must flat iron my hair -immediately or I lose my mojo.  One of the best features of the Corioliss is that it heats in 6 seconds or less.  That’s perfect for this girl who often forgets to turn on the iron before I blow dry.  I also like the fact that I have a choice of temperatures.  Yes, a choice!  The temperature can be set anywhere from 140°F – 410°F.  I prefer the 410°F.  It’s just how I roll.

I like my hair big and poofy…and I get that with this flat iron.  There is only one thing I’d add to make the Corioliss Classic Pro Flat Iron better and that’s an automatic shut off.  I’m notorious for leaving my curling/flat irons on.  It’s a really bad habit, I know.

In addition to flat irons, Misikko carries the best hair dryers. That beauty pictured to the left is the T3 Tourmaline Evolution Dryer.  I’m willing to bet I’d have a lot less frizz with a decent hair dryer!  It’s pretty impressive the different brands that Misikko carries.  From FHI Heat, Hana Salon and Solano.
