The Jensen Project *Closed*

A few months back, I was able to help get the word out about the Family Movie Night series on NBC.  Secrets of the Mountain has since become a favorite in our household and we can’t wait for the newest installment The Jensen Project, this Friday, July 16th at 7:00 PM CST on NBC.

As it turns out, Secrets of the Mountain wasn’t only enjoyed in our house.  More than 7.4 million households tuned in.  That’s pretty impressive!  Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m just glad that I can turn something on that the entire family can watch.

The thrilling science fiction plot of ‘The Jensen Project’ focuses on the Thompson family, who are reintroduced to The Jensen Project, a secret community of geniuses conducting advanced underground research to solve the world’s most difficult problems. The family is forced into a frantic pursuit to keep a potentially dangerous technology from falling into the wrong hands, and rediscover the importance of honesty, courage and being there for one another. The film features Kellie Martin, Brady Smith, Justin Kelly, LeVar Burton, Patricia Richardson and Alyssa Diaz.

The Jensen Project sounds like a great movie and it features some of my favorite actors and actresses, in particular Patricia Richardson and LeVar Burton.  Like Secrets of the Mountain, The Jensen Project soundtrack was produced by American Idol’s Randy Jackson and features performances by American Idol contestants Brooke White and Jordin Sparks, as well as several other up-and-coming artists.

Presented by Walmart and P&G, The Jensen Project DVD and soundrack will be available in Walmart stores July 17th.
