Eating in Style *Closed*

Paige is an eater.  She loves all kinds of food, yet she has her quirks too.  She’s the child who tells me she doesn’t like lettuce -then she’ll pick ever single piece of lettuce from her taco.  In the next sentence, she’ll want a salad.  So, yes, she does like lettuce…just not on anything only in the form of a salad!

Blue Apple Books recently contacted us about chic dining and we couldn’t pass it up!  We received EAT by DwellStudio, Bibs to Go and Are You Eating Something Green? to review.

Paige has devoured EAT.  It’s a fun, yet simple board book that has quickly become on of her favorites.  It features bright colors and a selection of her favorite foods.  While there isn’t any story, we talk about color and do some counting too.  Then, we’ll snack because looking at all that food works up an appetite!  From carrots to pretzels and I can’t forget the favorite Apples with Yogurt Dip.

Another DwellStudio creation is Bibs to Go.  It’s a pad of disposable bibs featuring different designs and patterns.  And because it’s from DwellStudio, you know they are fashionable.  I think the whole concept is pretty genius.  Sure, we’ve used those disposable bibs that come folded up, and they never really unfold, plus the end up crinkled and smooshed in the bottom of the bag.  I like that the Bibs to Go comes in a notepad, they are flat and with several different designs, Paige is able to choose the look she’s going for.

Are You Eating Something Green? is a collection of 36 fun and colorful placemats.  The front side features Greenie, a mealtime mascot.  The front of the placemat features a sweet little rhyme from Greenie as well as other fruits and vegetables that are that particular color.  The back side is a coloring page.  The crayon roll that I keep in my handbag is put to good use!
