ecoSTORE USA *Review*

I know I’m not the greenest person on the planet.  However, I’m trying.  A majority of the time I use green household cleaners, I use reusable bags for groceries and buy organic where and when it’s available.

I’ve heard a lot about green body soap and hair care items…but I haven’t tried anything that I really, really like.  Until now.

ecoSTORE USA sent several different kinds of body soap and bar soap for our family to try out.  Going green has never felt so good!

The Coconut and Vanilla Body Wash has taken over in the shower, for a number of reasons.  First and foremost, I love the delicate, clean scent – it’s light and earthy.  A clear body wash that doesn’t contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, artificial dyes, perfumes or preservatives, yes you’ve read that right.  It contains no chemicals!  A little goes a long way.  I’ll admit, I’m one that uses too much soap on the pouf.  This body wash is changing my ways, I’ve found that I can use a smaller amount and still feel like I’m getting clean.

The Manuka Honey and Kelp bar soap is my new favorite bar soap -especially after those long days that we’re outside.  This soap certainly gives me that squeaky clean feeling.  I’d also describe it as earthy.  From the way it looks and it’s fragrance, which is fabulous.   I’d love to see this soap available in a liquid body wash.

Finally, I’ve been using the Coconut Bar Soap on my face.  It’s milky and smooth…my face is left feeling fresh.  To be honest, I was hesitant about using this soap because it smells so strongly of coconut, however it’s not overpowering at all.  It leaves my skin with a delicate fragrance, something that I don’t even notice and I found that surprising.

Now, let’s talk about price.  Does going green cost more?  Sure.  I firmly believe you get what you pay for…and that’s not always a bad thing.  If you are looking for a brand that truly cares for the environment and the people living on this planet, you’ll appreciate ecoSTORE USA.  Also, for any of you folks living or visiting the East Coast, check out the Duane Reade stores for baby care, personal products and household cleaning brand items from ecoSTORE USA.  *I’m a huge drug store junkie, hopefully I’ll be able to hit a Duane Reade in NYC!*

Sticking with the green theme, ecoSTORE USA keeps the containers eco-friendly too.  They are simple in design and made from recycled goods.  In turn, they are recyclable.  That’s not only talking the talk but walking the walk.

*ecoSTORE USA provided the products featured in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.*

Great review! I’m trying to be more eco-friendly too but have to admit that I fall short sometimes by forgetting my reusable bags at home. Ever since I had my daughter, I’ve been more concious of avoiding bath products with chemicals so ecoStore USA sounds like a great line to purchase. I love nice smelling soaps so I’ll have to try some of them out :)

I am absolutely in love with the scent of coconut, so these would really be favorites of mine. Plus they’re green!
