This giveaway is now closed. Congrats to Tess!! *Winner has been notified*
Plastic baggies are helpful…but I hate throwing them away after I clean out a lunch bag – it just seems so wasteful! Especially when there are 5 or 6. It really drives me nuts!
Now, thanks to Citizenpip our lunches have gone green and I’m talking eco-friendly green!
Citizenpip provided our family with a Starter Kit. It comes with an insulated lunch bag, stainless steel water bottle, and four airtight food containers ranging in size.
Aside from being free of lead, BPA and phthalates (that’s Muck-Free, Citizenpip talk), I like these containers because they are easy to open and close. Too many times I’ve tried containers that are just a huge job to open. It’s my goal for my children to be able to take care of themselves…but they have to eat. It’s not fair to ask the lunch monitor to try to pry open their containers. Been there, done that! I like that the containers are see through, airtight and leak-proof too.
Another thing I like about this Starter Kit is the size. I can use as many or as few of the containers as I’d like and still have room for a yogurt, granola bar or pudding. Too many times, I can’t get my son’s lunch bag zipped because it’s crammed with a bunch of little things. He’s more of a snacker when it comes to eating. He likes a little of this, a little of that. This lunch bag accommodates other containers and food items.
While a bit on the pricey side, the Starter Kit retails for $42.00, but it’s a lunch box set that will be used year after year! They also have what I like to call the a la carte option. Either buy the containers or just the bag. Maybe you’d like to add the Food Jar to keep food hot or cold.
Leave it to me, I like this kit…a lot. I’ve claimed it as my own. All mine! Hey, this mama, she’s not only carrying a great looking lunch bag -but an eco-friendly one!
