I’m sure I’ve mentioned it…but just in case you’ve forgotten, Brand and I were married on Valentine’s Day.  Surprisingly enough, Brand was the one who wanted to get married on that particular day.  Romantic, right?  Yeah, well, he’s not.  He picked that day because it’s easy to remember, and in a sense, kills two birds with one stone.  No guy wants to forget his anniversary. I love football.  High school, college and pro.  I love it all!  Of course, I bleed red with my Nebraska Huskers, but we’re also fans of the New York Jets.  While I was disappointed that they didn’t make it to the Superbowl, I’m a fan of the New Orleans Saints…it’s all good! Paige loves horses.  She has ever since we went to the Kentucky Horse Park over the summer.  She was so excited to receive the Wild Horses Kids Zip-up Hoodie from Hatley. I’ve lost my car keys.  Well…not MY car keys, I’ve lost Brandon’s set of Stellarockafella keys. Which was uber handy when I called him from work last.  He was so prompt and wonderful, “I’ll be right there!”.  Then I had to call him back with the news of oh-by-the-way-they-were-your-keys-because-I-don’t-exactly-know-where-mine-are. I remember Strawberry Shortcake when I was a little girl, I believe I still have a record that I used to listen to floating around somewhere.  Well, Strawberry Shortcake is back!  We were given the opportunity to play with the Strawberry Shortcake Mini Dolls, in particular, Plum Pudding. When I went to New York City for the Euro-Pro event, we were not only introduced to the Ninja Master Prep (see my thoughts here), but to the entire line of Shark Cleaning Products. I love my FedEx lady!  Actually, she’s a friend of mine, we play Bunko together once a month.  My FedEx Ground guy, I appreciate him too…although I never see him.  He just takes packages to my husbands office.  Which is okay, I mean we live in a smaller town, it’s just easier. Christmas is my favorite holiday.  It’s so magical, the sights, the smells, the sounds!  Each year, I read The Polar Express to my children, usually several times.  It’s our Christmas tradition.  It’s so important to believe.  This year, we received a very special gift…one of Santa’s sleigh bells…exactly like the bells in the book!  I leave it on our shelf in our front room.  Not only as a reminder for the children, but for Brandon and I as well. I always try to purchase several books for the kids for Christmas.  Usually, they are my perfect stocking stuffers.  You can never have enough books and this year, Chronicle Books has several great titles.
