Date Night Package *Giveaway*

I’m sure I’ve mentioned it…but just in case you’ve forgotten, Brand and I were married on Valentine’s Day.  Surprisingly enough, Brand was the one who wanted to get married on that particular day.  Romantic, right?  Yeah, well, he’s not.  He picked that day because it’s easy to remember, and in a sense, kills two birds with one stone.  No guy wants to forget his anniversary. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, many couples are planning the perfect evening out.  I can’t tell you the last time we went on a actual date.  I mean, we always seem to have one or both of the kids in tow…and that’s okay.  Perhaps that’s... [more]

Gearing Up For Gametime! *Giveaway*

I love football.  High school, college and pro.  I love it all!  Of course, I bleed red with my Nebraska Huskers, but we’re also fans of the New York Jets.  While I was disappointed that they didn’t make it to the Superbowl, I’m a fan of the New Orleans Saints…it’s all good! That said, the Superbowl is one of my favorite days of the year.  I make finger foods for the family to enjoy all night long.  Last year we had, spicy wings, spinach artichoke dip, bbq meatballs, 7 layer mexican dip and stuffed puffed pastry bites.  It was delicious…and fun!  I’d have to rate it as a perfect day.  I guess that is why I’m excited for the game on Sunday. ... [more]

Canker Cover *Giveaway*

When I get stressed, I get canker sores. It’s been that way since I was a child.   It’s brings me to the “OMG, Sweet Baby Jesus” mode that often includes tears.  Seriously, it hurts to eat, drink and talk because I don’t get one canker sore,  I usually get 5 or 6…and they are huge.  TMI, I know. I jumped at the chance to try Canker Cover! Canker Cover is the only over-the-counter canker sore treatment shown in clinical studies to significantly speed treatment.  The pill shaped patch adheres to the sore and forms a gel patch that protect the sore, relieves the pain and speeds treatment.  In two separtate clincal studies, Canker Cover was shown to heal... [more]

Wash Them Grow with Suave Kids

Ironically enough, before I knew about this campaign, I had bought a bottle of Suave Kids No More Tangles for Paige…and our love affair with Suave started all over again.  Then, I heard about the Suave Kids “Wash Them Grow” program.  The package arrived last night and Paige couldn’t wait for bath time!  We received the Strawberry Body Wash, Berry Body Wash, Free and Gentle Body Wash and perhaps my favorite the Moisturizing Body Wash.  I like the Suave Kids because it’s perfect for both kids to use.  Suave Kids products are perfect for babies, on up to the independent child: Nurture Your Baby’s Firsts – While enjoying all your baby’s firsts,... [more]

Making Perfect Scents! *Giveaway*

I love candles and smellies (ahem, good smellies) in the house.  What I don’t love is the black soot that comes from the candles.  Perhaps something is wrong with my house, but I’ve had several brands of candles fill my front room with soot and smoke, to the point that the smoke detector goes off.  I’m left with sooty walls and furniture/toys/floors that must be washed. I’m no longer worried about a soot filled room with Scentsy.  Scentsy is a wickless candle system.  Using a warmer heated by a light bulb, bars of wax are heated releasing their delicious scents. Amazingly enough, Scentsy is a rather new company…yet it’s grown so fast.  Having celebrated... [more]

Chasing Pirates *Giveaway*

Lego’s and Norah Jones.  It’s probably not a combination you’d associate with each other.  Back in November Norah Jones released a new album, The Fall. Included on that album is the song Chasing Pirates. It’s a song that has stuck with me…and the video is pretty darn creative, of course being a fan of NYC, you can see why!  You can find Chasing Pirates here on Seeryus Mama and on the Norah Jones Hulu Channel.  Norah Jones and Lego’s have teamed up to promote her new album, The Fall and Chasing Pirates…which means an incredible giveaway for you! Joey Junior Purse Organizer *Closed*

This giveaway is now closed.  Congrats to Laurie Murley, comment # 76! In my quest to get organized, I’ve come across Joey Junior Purse Organizers. I have been using the Original Purse Organizer for a while and I have to say, it works!  I carry a large handbag, I always have, always will.  Usually, my stuff ends up at the bottom and I’m left digging.  Keys, iPod, phone, tissues, chapstick.  It drives me nuts!  Since I’ve been using the Joey Junior Purse Organizer, I’m able to keep my purse tidy.  Instead of carrying a bag full of stuff around, I feel like I carry my wallet, a current book and the Purse Organizer.  When I feel like changing purses, I have 3 things... [more]
